How to use "excellent" credit score to get $3k in cash with no interest and no payment for 12 months?

a) Branded credit cards (Guitar Center etc), I have one for $2.5k - buy something like that, sell it on eBay and pay it off ater 12 months.

b) Cash Back Bonus Check after buying a vehicle in car dealership.

c) WHAT ARE THE OTHER GOOD WAYS TO borrow for a year, interest free.

Thanks|||I have two credit cards with 0% APR. My payments are fifteen dollars per month on each of these cards, with no interest charges.

One is from Washington Mutual; the unsolicited offer from them to me that led me to apply was that if I transferred a balance of at least $100 [I transferred exactly $100 and repaid it within days, so the interest was less than a dollar], then my purchases would be interest free for approximately one year.

Another is from Bank of America. It was not originally interest free. From time to time, they offer me 0% cash advances. I sometimes take one of the cash advances if I can deposit the money elsewhere and make enough in interest (paid to me) to recoup the cash advance fee.

Your eBay idea may result it losing money. On eBay, you may not be able to find a buyer willing to pay you as much as you spent to purchase the item. You may lose money that way. Also, you have to pay eBay's fees.|||No can do, unless you can borrow from a relative. No commercial lender is going to give you money for 12 months, interest-free.|||Unfortunately, no lender or bank will give you $3K interest-free for any amount of time. You would likely qualify for pretty good interest rates on a loan with an excellent credit score, but interest free just isn't going to happen.|||If you can qualify for a 12moth 0% CC that is the way to go. READ THE FINE PRINT THOUGH!

Get a balance transfer check, and write yourself a check for just under the max (have to take into account the fees)

Drop this into a 9 month CD, and pay off the entire balance at the end.

READ THE FINE PRINT!!! otherwise your 0% will spike to 30%

|||You ideas have some major flaws. Anything you sell on ebay is likely to go for a whole lot less than you paid for it. You would still have to pay off that credit card and wouldn't be able to cover the charge.

Cashback bonus for a car usually goes toward the car purchase, not a check you can take to the bank. But you still have to pay for that car. Not no interest, no payment.

There use to be lots of 0% no fee credit card offers but those still required at least a minimum payment each month. In the current economy, you are unlikely to find any 0% for 12 month offers. You might find some low interest rate 12 month or even life of the debt offers, but these will have transfer/cash advance fees and will still require a monthly payment.
