Were you a fan of Johnny Cash b/f Walk the Line came out ?

I wasn't. I wouldn't even bother to TRY to d/l %26amp; listen to any of his music. I didn't realize how great of a singer he is. Well, how great his songs are. I think that Joaquin Phoenix %26amp; Reese Witherspoon did an excellent job in the movie. I'm so used to their songs that I'd prob like their versions more than J.R. Cash %26amp; June Carter. There's one song that I like that J.P. %26amp; R.W. sing that I think sounds better than the orig song anywayz. I wanna own the movie. My sis bought the soundtrack. There are some extra songs on there that aren't even on the movie... Guess they should have tried to include a few more songs.|||I grew up listening to johnny cash. so i am a long time fan, but i dont like june carter cash. reese witherspoon did a better job than june every did. JC best stuff wasnt even in the movie. Get the best of cd's to hear some of the great songs youve missed.|||not much|||Yes, I grew up with and loved his music--and some of June carter's too--because my dad is a fan. Loved that movie by the way.|||I've been listenin to cash for a long time...well long fer me....bout 12 years. Oddly enough though, I have yet to see the movie about him. And probably won't.|||I liked Johnny Cash before the movie but wasn't exposed to much of his stuff and that movie hasn't changed that.|||Yes I was I enjoyed the Man In Black for many years and have some of his releases on vinyl including a Sun 45 of I Walk The Line.|||Nope, I wasn't but my husband was. He loved the song "Boy named Sue"... (not in the movie),more songs should have been included.... as to Walk the Line.... AWESOME!|||Neither before nor after
