How old do u have to b to cash a money order?

um 14 and i wanna kno how old u have 2 b to cash a money order. wat will i have to show?? or will i have to take an adult?? um i kinda need a good answer tonite.|||I work at a bank and we require that you have matching funds in your account in order to cash a check or money order. Money orders are the number one, conterfeit object. Banks protect you and the themselves from fraud. If you don't have an account. I would find an adult that has the money and you can endorse the MO to them and they should be able to cash it. I know a lot of places don't cash MO.|||It certainly won't hurt if you have an adult with you.
