How do i cash a third party check made out 2 me for my b day?

i got a check for my b day from my mom how do i cash it and i dont even have a bank account|||You take the check to the bank the check is drawn on and show 2 i.d.s and they will cash it for you.|||look at the check. what bank is it issued from? go to that bank. they will cash it for you- with an ID. they will most likely charge you a small fee for cashing it though since you are not an account holder.
