Why did all Republicans say that BP should pay for all damages, but Obama shouldnt B handin out the cash?

Because I would like to see the money get to the victims rather than 0bama's buddies like the stimulus did.|||Because they are Republicans.|||i have not seen any saying that, i see them saying that BP should pay for it and that Obama should not be committing extortion against a company.|||In Obama's hands it's a "slush" fund. In the GOP's hands it's legal fees.





Anything in working class hands is slush - until it becomes thieving rich class legal industry invoice fodder. Beyond that it's basement lap pools, mahogany yacht cabins, Learjets, and Ferraris.





I never knew slush could do so much.|||Because BP is responsible even though i would like to see obama dish some dough out it's really not his fault even though I don't like the way he's handling things.Awful president If i say so myself.|||Sounds good to me.|||Self explanitory.|||Because the government would use the cash for other things and there would be none for the people who are supposed to get it. The people would get a big, fat, worthless I.O.U. from Uncle Sam. Keep the government out of handling the money.|||Because Barry isn't to be trusted to administer more money. He is incapable of doing so.


His top pick to oversee this process has never even worked in a gas station, nevermind the oil industry. (Or the fishing industry, for that matter.) Another complete beginner....|||Obama has literally done nothing about this oil spill......and now he wants his hands on the cash?


Doesn't that even smell the least bit funny to you?|||Yeah,how much you wanna bet we find out Union Workers who lost their jobs due to the spill get their money first,all others wait in line and hope they get paid.(Sort of like the GM Bailout where the Union got a super sweet deal,while creditors got the royal shaft)

Yes BP should pay for all of the damage, every last penny.





Now imagine that Obama controls the money and you are a conservative living in the Gulf Region, you get a check for 25% of the damages that you have personally suffered.





Who are you going to blame for that injustice?





Now do you see why Obama should not be handing it out ?





I am disappointed that Obama said that the money would be handled by a 3rd party independent person and then appointed his own CASH CZAR to do so.





This cash czar is the same person that distributed the funds to the victims of 9/11 and I think that he did a good job so let me explain why I am disappointed





The money distributed during 9/11 was overseen by congress, the czar bypasses any congressional oversight and reports only to president Obama.





This is hardly an independent 3rd party and it would be in Obama's best interests to make sure that it is with an independent source.





If one nickel is missing, Obama will catch the blame.
