If I deposit cash into a B.O.A. checking account how long does it take to credit? ?

I want to deposit $200.00 cash through an ATM late in the afternoon (after 2), will any of it credit immediatly like checks do, usually $100.00 of the check value?


Thanks!|||Do not deposit cash at an ATM. It can take days to verify and there is no paper trail if the bank fails to give you full credit for your cash deposit.





If you want immediate credit, take the cash to a BOA branch and make the deposit before 2:00 p.m.. If you deposit cash after 2:00 p.m., the funds likely will not be available until the following business day. |||Yes it will instantly show up. Anything deposited before 8pm will show up in your account that day.





The new bank of america Atms are very safe to deposit money into.





Also there are tons of security cameras and the people collecting the money out of them have to do it with another person so they couldn't steal it. |||Never deposit cash into an ATM. There is no proof that you had it in there. It would be too tempting for someone working there that is not honest. I rather see you give it to the poor. Fo park and walk inside with the cash and get your receipt right then. Don't learn the expensive way! \Anything you deposit after 2:00 will be credited at midnight. Cash, before 2:00 will be credited right then, checks will have to wait until the next day.|||th atm does not know what you are depositing so if it is cash or checks you will see 100.00 immediately, the rest will deposit the next day. If however the bank is open you are better off going inside and making the deposit, 200.00 in cash at the teller will go in right then and you will have access to it right then. |||Yes it might take until the next day for the cash to be credited to your acct. but if you do dep. w/a teller cash is available immediately. I have worked in banks for 10 yrs. and it's very safe to dep. thru the ATM, a lot of people do it and it's better than holding your money until the bank opens.
